Cranbrook Sports Club's AGM is on Sunday 11th June at 12.00pm and is open to all paid members. The election of officers will take place and any expression of interest for posts or committee representation have to be in by 30th April 2017. Please click on this link for further details.

Ruaridh McConnochie grabs Silver Medal
Cranbrook RFC's Ruaridh McConnochie gained a silver medal in Rio as part of a very successful GB Sevens squad. Despite losing to very worthy winners Fiji in the final, they played in some very tight games beating Japan, New Zealand Argentina and South Africa in their run to the Gold Medal match. Ruaridh was delighted to receive his medal and said "It's been a hell of a journey and minutes on the pitch were never a goal, just to enjoy the moment and I really did!" Cranbrook RFC is very proud of your achievements and we know you have more to come!
Nathan selected for Canterbury (NZ)
Nathan Earle, having spent the last few months in New Zealand, has been selected for the Canterbury Squad for the coming Mitre 10 Cup..

First and Second Team fixtures updated
The First team fixtures
for Kent 1 have been updated with dates for the Sponsors and Volunteers Lunches (SVL) and Club Lunches (CL). All kick off times are correct as per RFU Administration guidance notes. Dates for the Kent Vase and RFU Junior Vase have yet to be received and will be updated when the draw has taken place.
The Second team fixtures
for Shepherd Neame Late Red 3 West have been updated. All kick off times are correct as per RFU Administration guidance notes.
So, finally, we are in the stages of ordering Club Blazers and the finished product is shown below. The blazer will have double vents, silver buttons (2 button fastening and 3 on each sleeve), 3 inside pockets (one regular, one with a button and loop, and one small ticket pocket), buttonhole on the left lapel, collar loop and your name embroidered on the inside. The price is £125 and payment needs to be taken upfront and made to Mandy by either Credit Card or Cash. If you are interested (and there are quite a few interested parties already) then please download the order form, take the measurements as indicated on the form and return them to Mandy behind the bar. We have to order a minimum number to maintain this price so don’t dither and get your order in asap. The first minimum order has been sent. Further orders will be in minimums of 7.
Age group pages reset for the new season
Age group pages have been reset for the forthcoming season 2015/16. It's still a long way off but always good to get a head start, especially with the World Cup ahead!
